The Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, said that after the passage of the law for reconciliation in building violations in 2018, the requests submitted were not as expected.

Madbouly added: This matter prompted the government to think and discuss simplifying procedures, and as a result, amendments to the law were issued by the House of Representatives at the end of last January.

He explained in a press conference a while ago at the Council of Ministers, that based on the amendment of the law, the reconciliation procedures related to the engineering consultant's report have been simplified, and the space has been opened for all violations, and they are no longer linked to what after 2008.

Madbouly indicated that the law explicitly stipulated the installment of the value of reconciliation for a period of 3 years and allowed grievances over the value of reconciliation, as well as grievances against the rejection of the request.
